Message	However that "VTC mod" you mention was a controller SZ installs that allows them to turn on sooner, around 1200RPM or so instead of a more traditional spot. They showed me before/after on the dyno and it really smoothed out my curve. Despite the lack of noise when cold, I'm hoping it's just the early signs of cam gears so I'll start listening more when it's cold and get over to SZ when possible so we can listen with better tools and play with the VTC.
